Disney’s Animal Kingdom Testing Addition of Second Guest Relations Location

Similar to the test currently running at the Magic Kingdom which has added another guest relations location in Tomorrowland, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now testing out the addition off a second location where guests can find help with ticketing, reservations, and other issues or concerns.

The new test location is adjacent to the entrance of the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction. The main Guest Relations is still located at the very front of the park in the Oasis.

The test will be running today, October 13th, 2016, through November 5th, 2016.

  1. In my opinion, if Disney would stop cutting back, reducing everything, going out of their way to make the parks less comfortable for guests, they’d have less of a need for long lines of people at guest relations, and adding more guest relations stations. I get it that many guests want something for nothing, but I haven’t heard many guests as unreasonable a Disney is on their expectations of crowding and cut backs of events, parades, performances, running rides at 1/3 capacity to save a few staff members minimum wage salary.

    • I don’t agree with all your posts Yolanda, but this one I sure do! Reading this forum of all the cuts of parades and entertainment, an addition is more areas such as guest relations instead, someone at Disney is not firing on all brain cells. Guest relations our last visits were to fix authentic Disney screw ups, and the poor 20 something year old smiling staff there was super apologetic but obviously not given many resources to do anything. Some agents were aggressive and loved to say no, and snickered when guests left. Reminded me of lost luggage line at airport. Airline screwed up, agent takes the wrath. We waited 50 minutes in line, very short by any Disney standards, we overheard all kinds of problems that Disney created themselves, less so whiny guests. Felt badly for some of them, they had really gotten the screw by the mouse.

  2. Ahh getting ready for all the Avatar sucks complaints. Just kidding, I’m sure EVERYONE will absolutely love Soarin Over Pandora and It’s a Small Pandora, or is it Navi of the Pandora? Yo ho Yo ho a Navi life for me!
