Seven years after the Starring Rolls Cafe and Bakery at Disney’s Hollywood Studios permanently closed, the cafe’s sign has been removed.

Starring Rolls Cafe was attached to the back of the Hollywood Brown Derby, to the right in the photo above. It closed after Trolley Car Cafe, the park’s Starbucks, opened, making Starring Rolls redundant. Tables and chairs have remained in the area even after the cafe closed.

The sign remained on the top of the roof, just covered by a red scrim for the past several years. It’s now finally gone, leaving one metal support where it used to be.

The red umbrellas at the cafe tables also used to be branded “Starring Rolls Cafe” but they were replaced years ago. For comparison, below is a picture of the former cafe with its sign on the roof.
