Speaking of 20,000 Leagues… THE NAUTILUS!

So, the hidden details in the Phil Holmes portrait, there is a Magic Lamp, peanuts, and an apple. We assume these are nods to Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, and Dumbo/Storybook Circus
He has a ring to celebrate his 40 years with the Magic Kingdom, and we assume the portrait celebrates him signing off on the New Fantasyland project
There’s a map in the book that includes Mickey’s Toontown (No Fair) and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Was there from 12-26 Sept 2012. Whilst there, we came out of Philharmagic and were asked if we wanted to participate in a show of Enchanted Tales with Belle (which wasn't open to the public). We did! It was great fun, and requires audience participation. The theming etc was excellent and the folks with us who did take character parts (like us, tourists from all over the world) really got into it. Highly recommended. It all takes place in Maurice's Workshop and the whole place was just fantastic. Lots of 'suits' around but everyone was really positive about the show and complimentary about the theming. Can't wait to go back and see the rest of the new stuff, it certainly looks brilliant.
