Adam Roth’s 3/24/11 WDW Photo Report

WDWNT Reporter Adam Roth spent a day at the Walt Disney World theme parks yesterday and has plenty of photos to share with us from his trip. Let’s take a look:

Welcome to Epcot

Someone needs to go up there…

No more Garden Town, it’s now just the Festival Center

If you listen closely, you can hear Adam crying over the name change

Fairly empty this year…

Food and Wine is ready to go…

The decorations on the back wall are a nice touch, but it is just way too empty in here now

Love makeshift walls

Beneath all of this lies what remains of the Wonders of Life

The Making of the Festival at the newly named HGTV Theater

The stages are very nice

Nope…

Zoom in please

A little more…

What is that?

Just think of all the fun WDI is having in there…

Merchandise!

A new exhibit this year

Looks like fun

Pixie Hollow

Excited guests meeting Tinker Bell and Terrence

The Race Around World Showcase is still running, where guests can collect stickers in a special activity booklet with the ultimate goal of getting an exclusive button

“Kachow!”

International flags representing the countries Lightning will be racing through in Cars 2

Over to the Magic Kingdom, where it appears the store inside Town Square Theater will be called Curtain Call Collectibles. No word on where in the building this is or if this means Box Office Gifts is not the name of the store as the Disney Parks Blog stated…

Character wait time signs already in place

FASTPASS machines will be located near Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Kodak is still the sponsor

Work continues on the facade of Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

This is the cover for the “Magic, Memories, and You!” projectors on Main Street…

Is it just me, or did it look better before?

We can only hope a mechanism is eventually built to lower these

The new bridge to Adventureland continues to get new little accents

A bunch of new cement on this side

Adam really wants to get in this line, but the wait is too long…

Tiki Room still closed

Will we soon be “Under Old Managment”? Get it, because the old… yeah, it wasn’t very good the first time someone said it either…

Nothing to see here

It’s obvious work is being done

Tortuga Tavern closed

My mistake…

The interactive queue at the Haunted Mansion is also closed

Imagineers still walking around

The handicap sign was illuminated today

The rearrangement of the graveyard is finished and it looks great!

A few new headstones peppered in as well

Not as many trees back here, but the new ones planted need some time to grow in

The animatronic hitchhiking ghosts are back and better than ever with more fluid movement and new props. You’ll have to take our word for it…

The “curtain ghosts” are still covering the mirrors

Meanwhile in Fantasyland, work continues! (Big surprise)

What we thought was a castle wall now appears to be some rockwork

Enchanted Tales and the Be Our Guest restaurant look like they will blend in pretty nicely (although a castle wall will stand here at some point)

Another look at the rockwork

The lift hill of the Barnstormer is exposed

Looks like the ride will get a nice refurb with the cosmetic changes to become The Great Goofini

Something missing? Yeah, the Toontown billboard is history…

A look through the walls…

All gone!

Did they repaint The barnstormer building already? looks brand new to me!

The Storybook Circus is coming to town!
