Tom Corless’ 3/23/14 Disney Springs Photo Report (Pollo Campero Closes, Concept Art, New Shirts, ETC.)

Plenty is going on at Downtown Disney as it slowly transforms into Disney Springs, so I took my camera and headed over to the districts to see what new merchandise has been popping up and exciting changes are happening to the area:

I love this new shirt that not only features a Friendship boat, but also says Lake Buena Vista on it

  1. I was hoping Disney would make the parking structures appealing and not an eyesore and from the artist renderings I am pleased and I really like the greenery walls (aka perforated planter boxes) and the use of other materials than just concrete.

Pollo Camparo was one of my favorite fast food restaurants when they took McDonald’s away. Keep the great pictures coming so we can all see Downtown Disney’s transformation into Disney Springs.

  2. I agree. That parking garage looks like it’s going to be very nicely done. Maintenance on the greenery won’t likely be a lot of fun, but it will give it a very appealing aesthetic.

  3. I was hoping for more of a character themed parking garage. For example not being one solid color but, having murals from Disney movies.
