While it is sad that it is closed, how often can you do this?

The engineers are also available to talk too, making this something really special for those of us who are real park fanatics

Tim also took a video of the Main Street Station stationary experience to share with us today:

  1. I would hope Paint the Night is not on it’s way to WDW, unless you mean a recreation of the parade. Disneyland Park has not had a night time parade in I don’t know how many years and I honestly don’t think WDW needs to steal another one of our parades.

  2. It’s nice to be able to get an up close view of the train locomotive. It’s too bad that they aren’t at least semi firing up the boiler. It is such a different experience.

  3. I guess its better than looking at a tarp with no trees on it. : ) Great pics again! Thank you for posting these!

  4. In the year Splash Mountain opened up at Disneyland, we took a trip from our home in Chicago to ride it. However there was a delay and it was not opened. Seeing our disappointment they asked us if we would like to ride in the Lily Belle at the time we had no idea what it was but we said sure. They put the Lily Belle on the track and we rode around the park in the train car like celebrities. I mentioned that Walt probably sat in one of the seats so we took turns sitting in every seat.

  5. I don’t want WDW to EVER AGAIN get rid of the Main Street Electrical Parade. It’s my favorite thing. Paint the Night looks nice, but I’ll see it someday at Disneyland.
