Kylo Ren Meet and Greet to Replace Darth Vader in February 2016 at Disney Parks

If you are planning to meet Darth Vader, you had better do so soon… for your sake.

Kylo Ren will begin meeting guests at Star Wars Launch Bay at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park in February 2016, replacing Lord Vader. Chewbacca will continue to be offered on the light side for meet and greet opportunities. No word was given on who will meet guests waiting in the special Disney VISA card experience come next month.

  1. There are very few characters on tv shows or movies that I wish would be killed off and he’s one of them. I personally see zero redemption of his charter in the Disney Fanfiction created universe of the new star wars films

  2. Just back from 7 days on property, and the Darth Vader/Chewbacca meet & greets were among the very top highlights of the trip, for everyone in our party from age 50 down to 17. So much fun! Hate to see Darth go though — keep him, Disney! Just add Kylo!

  3. So they are going to replace Darth Vader for a whiny emo, can’t people already meet and greet whiny emos at any hot topic ?

  4. What’s wrong with having both character of Kylo ren and Darth Vader at all the Disney parks besides I’m with the fans who likes Darth Vader I’m his biggest fan my name is Ricki here’s my page rickigrabau@yahoo.com if you want notify me I’m Darth Vader biggest fan I’m with him 100% they should keep Darth Vader that s what I think

  5. This is a TERRIBLE idea disney. The whole star wars legacy is BASED around Vader! How could you take him away. Kylo is a whiny emo 12 year old wanna be compared to vader. Bad move. My husband and i are very disappointed.

  6. Devastating news. This was to be a highlight for my trip in October. My child loves “Dark” Vadar. I think I will begin looking in to something else, since we’ve already been to Disney twice.

  7. We are NOT happy to lose Darth Vader. Darth Vader is an icon and he refused to kill his son. Kylo Ren kills his father. What a horrible role model!!!!!!

    Keep Darth Vader!!!!!
