As part of Sunset Seasons Greetings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, debuting November 9th, guests will see the Hollywood Tower Hotel transform via projection mapping into the Hollywood Toy Hotel, according to some new concept art released by Disney.
The art shows the Tower of Terror as if it was built out of toys, just one of many scene changes the structure will make during the new holiday offering. This particular projection will tie-in to a Toy Story scene in the show.

Indy don’t have better things to do then to dump on a show that hasn’t even been shown to the public yet? Indiana Jones and the temple of assumptions!
It’s hideous! They probably want to make it a tacky at Guardians of Galaxy (DLR). SAVE THE TOWER!

How is this any different than the projections they show on the Castle in MK? Or at It’s a Small World at Disneyland? Or the Tree of Life in AK?
It’s still the ToT, it’s just going to be dressed up during the Season’s Greetings show, for like 20 minutes at a time… I think it’s gonna be cool!

WHO in a Disney Imagineering planning meeting used precious oxygen and their own two God-given lips to suggest this absolute travesty? It looks crazy. The Tower is, and has been for a while, the best ride in whatever this park is called at the moment (although I’ll probably call it MGM for the rest of my life regardless). It doesn’t need to be plussed, much less with something completely unrelated.
Since everyone seems to be confused – THIS IS A PROJECTION! The tower isn’t having a retheme like Gardians Of The Galaxy Mission Breakout. Personally I think this looks great and will make the show something worth watching

Hollywood Studios 2017. Amidst the bare park and the lack of a bustling from park guests at the dry season of Hollywood Studios , the Hollywood Tower Hotel was transformed into a playful toy hotel. Sad!
It’s not the Osborne lights but it’s still pretty cool.
CONFIRMED the area is going to be rethemed and added to Toy Story land. Check into the toy hotel because your the size of a toy. Ride Rock n Roller coaster featuring Randy Newman with your tour guide Barbie. The whole right side of the park will be all Toy Story while the left side will be all Star Wars as these are the only two IPs allowed now in the park formally known as MGM
