With only a week and a half left until Easter starts, it is time to start planning! The Disney Parks Blog announced that Disney Springs offers many opportunities for the festivities this year, including Easter baskets, an Easter brunch, and special Easter photos.
Up first are the Easter baskets, a favorite during this festive time of year. At Disney Springs, you can choose one that’s fully assembled (check out Goofy’s Candy for the sweet treats) or you can build your own with products from different stores in Disney Springs, including World of Disney, The Disney Corner, L’Occitane, M.A.C. Cosmetics, Basin and Sephora.
This weekend (March 24 and 25), there will be an Easter bonnet-themed kids’ activity taking place from 12 to 5 pm at Disney Springs Marketplace, near the Pearl Factory kiosk. The kids will have the opportunity to transform a paper plate into a fashionably fun bonnet perfect for the season! Plus, you may catch a glimpse of the Easter-themed “Bunny Drum Corps,” who will be playing March 22 through Easter weekend.
If you are visiting the Disney PhotoPass Studio at the Marketplace, there will be opportunities to create your one-of-a-kind spring photo, with fun props including a larger-than-life Easter basket and virtual backgrounds that depict spring scenes.
The Ganachery has a special ‘spring’ assortment with Spring Ganache Pops, chocolate bunnies, and a “piñata egg” that comes complete with a wooden hammer, so you can crack it open to reveal chocolate-covered marshmallows inside. Similarly, at Sprinkles, you can try a mini-sampler pack with Vanilla, Red Velvet and Dark Chocolate flavours available in-store for $8.00.
Also, there are several venues offering Easter brunch or limited-time menus. For example, Paddlefish is offering a Lamb Loin special alongside their regular brunch offerings. STK Orlando, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, Maria & Enzo’s and House of Blues are also offering brunch menus. Reservations are limited and can be booked here or via phone at 407-WDW-DINE.
To top it off, Fabio Napoleoni will return to Disney Springs for his annual Easter Weekend Show and Signing, taking place March 30th and March 31st from 5 to 9 pm at Pop Gallery.
