Warner Bros. Interactive and Disney has announced LEGO The Incredibles for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
LEGO The Incredibles will include brick building and the stories of both the first movie and the upcoming sequel, while also including additional story quests that the team at TT Games has developed in conjunction with Pixar.
Aside from the Parr family (Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, Violet and Dash) and Frozone, a multitude of playable characters will be available to unlock throughout the game, in standard LEGO game fashion. This includes super heroes that made brief cameos in the first Incredibles movie, but were not quite fleshed out. Characters will be available to play in two-player co-op.
Featuring open-world gameplay that recent LEGO games have been known for, LEGO The Incredibles will continue this trend, while adding a bigger focus on team-based puzzle solving and platforming. An announcement from publisher Warner Bros. details players will “explore action-packed story levels and an epic hub world, including Municiberg and Nomanisan Island, as they use their unique super abilities to bring the city’s villains to justice.”
LEGO The Incredibles will release on June 15, the same day Incredibles 2 hits theaters.
