The digital deluxe edition includes Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps, a post-game launch release that includes three additional story chapters with new missions, villains, characters, and suits for Spidey that will roll out over time. Pre-ordering the digital deluxe edition will include a physical special edition pin that will be sent via mail (US and Canada only) featuring Spider-Man as he appears on the cover art of the game.
- The collector’s edition of the game will go for $149.99 and include all of the content from the digital deluxe edition, plus a steelbook case, as well as a Mini Artbook from Titan Books. Additionally, there will be a statue by Gentle Giant included in the collector’s edition that shows Spider-Man perched on top of something secret that won’t be revealed until sometime this summer.
All three versions of the game have a handful of pre-order bonuses available. The pre-order bonus includes the Spidey-Suit Pack, which contains the Spider-Punk outfit, as well as additional suits that will be revealed over the summer. Also included is the Spider-Drone gadget, a PSN avatar, and an original PS4 theme designed by comic book artist Adi Granov. Also included in the pre-order bonus are five extra skill points to unlock faster web-slinging.

Marvel’s Spider-Man was first announced at E3 2016, and while we haven’t gotten many deep looks at the game, we did see some gameplay in summer 2017. A story trailer was later released in the fall, but details have been pretty scarce since. What we do know is that the game will be open-world, and feature mission based gameplay, as well as a leveling and suit upgrade system. Miles Morales has also been confirmed to play a role in the story.
Marvel’s Spider-Man will release exclusively for PlayStation 4 on Friday, September 7.
