Guests attending the “DuckTales” panel during the Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest at Disney California Adventure yesterday, May 12, were treated to an extra special surprise: a live reading of an upcoming episode! The panel, moderated by Sam Riegel, the show’s voice director and an actor in his own right, featured the main cast of David Tennant (Scrooge), Danny Pudi (Huey), Bobby Moynihan (Louie), Ben Schwartz (Dewey), Kate Micucci (Webby), and Toks Olagundoye (Mrs. Beakley).
The episode read was titled “McMurder at McDuck McManor” and can be seen, albeit with a different recording, in a later season of the show. Check out our video of the live reading below!
Upon exiting the panel, guests were gifted the same duck beak noise-makers that actors had on stage. There was also a meet and greet with David Tennant later in the day but wristbands were required, which were distributed at park opening and didn’t last long!
