In celebration of today, National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, Sprinkles Cupcakes is bringing back their scrumptious Cookie Cupcake through to the end of Sunday (August 5th) at both their Disney Springs and Downtown Disney Anaheim locations.
Let’s be real—any holiday that involves consuming a sweet treat is one that should be recognized! So, I journeyed over to my favorite local Sprinkles storefront, which can be found in Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort.
This deceptively moist yellow cake is seeded with chocolate chip morsels that melt in your mouth along with the brown sugar frosting. The cookie crust base and crumbled cookie topping add just the right amount of variety in texture to balance out this indulgent cupcake.
Upon first bite, I was in heaven. I’m guilty of eating far too much cookie dough while making homemade cookies. The flavors were definitely reminiscent of raw cookie dough, without the risk of getting sick. If that’s your thing, I would swing by your local Sprinkles store (or the Disney locations) to pick up this limited-time offering.
