Typically, guests would have to travel to Pandora: The World of AVATAR at Animal Kingdom if they wanted to adopt a Banshee from the Rookery to take home. Disney has given up on this exclusive, story-driven concept and is now selling the Banshee toys on Discovery Island in Island Mercantile.
The Rookery in Island Mercantile opened on Saturday. While it isn’t much to look at now, branches and such to match the other Rookery will be arriving soon.
If guests want the full adoption experience, they are still advised to go to Windtraders in Pandora.
