Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta is offering up two holiday offerings this season, a Holiday Dinner Pizza, and a Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake.
Holiday Dinner Pizza – Slice ($8.99), Whole Pizza ($39.99)
Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, bacon, vegetables, and cranberry sauce on a pizza. It sounds a questionable fusion to say the least. It doesn’t even look particularly appetizing.
Well, this pizza is actually better than it has any right to be! Somehow, the Holiday Dinner Pizza just works surprisingly well. The mashed potatoes are flavorful, the roasted turkey is tender, and the turkey gravy and cranberry make a nice sweet and savory sauce. It’s definitely worth giving a shot.
Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake ($5.79)
A good, but basic pumpkin cheesecake. It’s creamy and has good pumpkin flavoring. It’s enjoyable, but not anything to write home about.
