In true SoCal style there is a secret menu option at Disneyland Park’s newest quick service restaurant; The Tropical Hideaway. For an additional 99 cents, guests may top any of their Dole Whips or floats with candied bacon crumbles by asking for it “spiced up”.

Bacon lovers will definitely enjoy this smokey twist. The crumbles add some texture to the otherwise soft consistency. I was glad that it was not overpowering with bacon flavor but had more of a subtle aftertaste. I likely wouldn’t get it every time but if you are craving bacon, it is worth a try.
