Nestled deep within Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, tucked away in Casitas 4, is the La Vida Health Club. It’s adjacent to the quiet pool in the area, which has been getting a lot more action since the main Dig Site pool is closed until December 13th. According to Cast Members at the location, this spa was remodeled before the rest of the resort, but it’s held up rather nicely.

The signage outside is very subdued. Even though the pool next door had a few people sunbathing and swimming in it, the area was quiet and peaceful.

There’s a lovely outdoor patio with big, plush chairs to lounge in. The gauzy curtains swaying in the wind really helped take away from the fact that you were a few yards away from a parking lot.

Inside, there’s a hardwood interior with huge marble slabs comprising the check-in desk and robes and towels available for patrons.

It’s lit, fam.

The waiting area is also very nice and well-appointed. I took a glance inside the salon area and it all looked incredibly clean, new, and well-lit. (I’m all for dim, “relaxing” lighting, but I prefer crisp lighting in places like these, for hygienic purposes…)

This sign posted at the check-in desk definitely caught my eye. The salon offers Character Couture nail decals for $3/per nail or $30 for the full set. The designs, while not all appealing, were definitely a step above the generic “Mickey accent nail” I’ve seen in other reviews from Disney Resort Spas. They also do Magical Makeovers! Please note that the decals are considered an add-on/upgrade to the $45 manicure.

Connected to the spa are these really nice and clean bathrooms. This one definitely made my Top 10 Disney Bathroom list for 2018. It’s accessible from the pool area as well.

Also part of La Vida is the fitness center, which had plenty of ellipticals, treadmills, free weights, weight training machines with TVs, free earbuds, and towels available for your sweat sesh. The fitness center is open 24/7 to all Resort guests and can be accessed with your MagicBand.

While La Vida appears to be slept upon, I would definitely consider it if I am planning a spa or salon treatment while at Disney. It doesn’t have a sauna, but it does have a fancy shower and relaxation room with higher-end H2O products, available to anyone who has purchased a treatment for the day. There’s also a Keurig and other refreshments available. If you’re interested in seeing La Vida Salon’s full menu of offerings, click here. It’s connected to the same line of Senses spas featured at the Grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs Resort, so if you’re staying at Coronado and don’t want to resort hop to have a spa experience, definitely go to La Vida!
