REVIEW: Jolly Holiday Bakery Mickey Mouse Club Hat Dessert – Get Your Ears On Celebration at Disneyland Park
In honor of Mickey and Minnie’s 90th birthday last November, the Disneyland Resort has launched a new celebration. The Get Your Ears On Celebration features new merchandise, a new nighttime show, and new foods for guests to enjoy. Jolly Holiday Bakery is now offering a Mickey Mouse Club Hat Dessert for anyone wishing to celebrate our favorite leader of the club.
Mickey Mouse Club Hat Dessert – $5.99
This seasonal treat is a chocolate truffle mousse dome with vanilla bean crème brûlée center, topped with Mickey Ears and Mickey Mouse Club logo.

The dome appears to be a very firm layer of chocolate, but it was creamy and easy to cut through with a plastic spoon. The chocolate truffle mousse was very rich and made up most of this dessert. While I greatly enjoyed the taste, this dessert is not something I could finish on my own, despite being small. The richness of the chocolate is just a tad too much, but it’s bearable when sharing with a partner. The crème brûlée center didn’t have a strong vanilla bean taste to it. However, it broke up the heaviness of the chocolate, so I like this addition.
Both of the ears and Mickey Mouse Club logo are edible, as they are also made out of chocolate.
Overall, this Mickey Mouse Club Hat Dessert is a great option for chocolate lovers! It’s rich and creamy, and makes for a cute photo. This is something I wouldn’t mind being a permanent addition to the menu at Jolly Holiday Bakery.
