An all-new Braised Beef and Enchilada offering has been added to ABC Commissary’s dinner menu at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The dish includes Braised Barbacoa Beef, a Roasted Cheese and Corn Enchilada, and Cilantro Slaw. It is topped with Fire Roasted Chipotle sauce and Queso Fresco.
Braised Beef and Enchilada – $15.99
The dish was actually really solid. Especially compared to the rest of ABC Commissary’s below average menu.
The coleslaw was fine. It tasted fresh, but didn’t have anything all that special to it. It did complement the dish well and served as an appropriate side, if coleslaw is your thing.
The Enchilada shell was warm with a slight crunch, without being so crunchy that it tasted stale. It came topped with Chipotle Sauce and Queso Fresco, which probably saved the whole Enchilada, as the inside was pretty much just filled with corn. The sauces added much more flavor and made the enchilada unique instead of just being corn and shell.
The Braised Beef is what made this dish one of the most delicious quick service dishes I’ve ever had. The beef was extremely fresh, pulled apart just the way a braised beef dish should, and was filled with flavor. The Chipotle sauce and Queso Fresco also topped this element of the dish which worked well and provided a different taste from anything I’ve had before.

The dish was also served with this moist towelette. It wasn’t really necessary as I ate the entire thing with a knife and fork, but the gesture was most appreciated.
Overall, this is one of the best quick service offerings I’ve had at Walt Disney World. Everything in the dish was fresh and flavourful, and the sauces that topped the dish added excellent flavor to both the Braised Beef and the Enchilada. I’m not a huge coleslaw fan, but it works well as a fresh side for this dish. I highly recommend giving this dish a shot next time you’re looking for a quick service option at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
