Disney very cleverly hidden a first look at Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy in a recent announcement about big celebrations throughout the parks this year, including the Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30th anniversary celebration.

Lightning McQueen is set to open the doors to his academy this Sunday, March 31st, but as you can see, he’s ready to ka-chow audiences.

Here’s a finalized look at the animatronic, which we got a look at back in January. A 200-foot wide screen will surround the audience, completely immersing them in the experience. Imagineers used pre-visualization software to make sure each seat in the audience gets the same spectacular experience.

Lightning McQueen is the last to arrive at Sunset Showcase. DJ and Cruz Ramirez made their way over just last week. That being said, it’s time to race!
