*NEW* Pizza Toscana: Rustic Italian Flatbread with Sweet Sausage, Caramelized Onion, Mozzarella, Asiago and Parmesan Cheeses (KA) – $8.00
The pizza is kind of a waste of money. The “sweet sausage” really just tastes like breakfast sausage, and you only get two tiny pieces of it. This is a pass.
*NEW* Pomodori Verdi e Mozzarella: Fried Green Tomatoes, Mozzarella Cheese, Balsamic Reduction – $8.00
The fried tomatoes were fine, but the cheese didn’t seem particularly fresh. We wouldn’t tell you to not to get this, but you’ve been warned on questionable mozzarella freshness. Proceed with caution.
*NEW* Tri-Colored Cheese Tortellini, Sage Butter and Chicken Veloute (KA) – $9.00
First of all, this tortellini is out of a bag. If you really want some pasta, it’s fine, but forgettable. The colors are a nice nod to all the vegetation growing around Epcot around Festival time.
*NEW* Zeppole: Ricotta Cheese Fritters, Powdered sugar, Raspberry Sauce and Chocolate-hazelnut Drizzle (KA) – $7.00
The zeppole is arguably the best item at this Outdoor Kitchen. They’re the same soft, pillowy desserts that are served at Via Napoli, and fried up fresh.
Peroni Nastro Azzurro Pilsner (5.1% ABV) – $5.50
Peroni Brewery describes their beer as “a crisp and refreshing beer with a delicate balance of bitterness, citrus and spicy aromatic notes, combined with a fast and clean finish.”
Placido Pinot Grigio ($8/bottle) – $9.00
Banfi Wines describes Placido Pinot Grigio as having a bouquet of “fresh and fruity aromas of pears as well as citrus and grapefruit,” and a “full, fresh and lively” taste, “with notes of ripe pear on the finish.”
Placido Chianti ($8/bottle) – $9.00
Banfi Wines describes Placido Chianti as having an “intense aroma that hints of violets,” with a “dry and well balanced” taste “with black-fruit flavors followed by a long finish.”
Villa Sandi Prosecco ($12/bottle) – $10.00
Villa Sandi describes their wine’s aroma as “…fruity and flowery with hints of ripe golden apple and small mountain flowers.” “The dry, fresh and flavorsome sensation on the palate is followed by a fruity and harmonious aftertaste.”
Montegrande Corbinello ($15/bottle) – $10.00
Christofanon Montegrande described their Corbinello as “a ruby red wine, from the red-fruit fragrance that recalls marascas and violets. It has a kind wrapping fresh and pleasantly tannic taste.”
Fior d’Arancio Montegrande Moscato ($15/bottle) – $10.00
Christofanon Montegrande describes Fior d’Arancio as “typical of Muscat, intense but delicate, with clear reminiscent of wisteria, white flowers and citruses.”
Bellini: Sparkling Wine and Peach Purée – $10.00
The Bellini stood out as something we all said we would come back for. Unlike past incarnations where the Bellini was made to order, this version was premixed. It was a solid balance of ingredients which was missing in previous years. Light, refreshing, and a perfect twist on a mimosa.
