Happy Earth Day and welcome to the latest Animal Kingdom photo report! We’re excited to bring you this update because it’s full of cute otter faces! That’s right, Otter Grotto finally reopened, and now we can all enjoy watching the otters play!
I’ve never realized how cute these guys are. They’re so active and playful. Watching them explore their new habitat was an incredible experience. They seem very interested in the guests watching them, so Otter Grotto makes for a fun place to stop and relax in the shade.
I want to take them home with me!
Speaking of taking snuggly things home, these Kevin plush are so cute. These always seem to be sold out when I’m at Animal Kingdom, so I finally found the elusive plush for myself.
Three new open edition pins also arrived at Discovery Trading Company. There is a very heavy Star Wars Stormtrooper Executioner pin for $17.99.
The latest Vintage Vinyl pin arrived. Lady and the Tramp is very popular, so these are sure to sell out quickly. You can grab one for $17.99.
An Earth Day 2019 pin also released for $16.99. Young Simba stands against a shiny planet Earth.
If you’re looking for even more new Lion King merch, head into Mombasa Marketplace. There’s a lot of new things for adults and kids, including my new personal favorite, this sleeveless hoodie. The hood has ears and a little tuft of fur on the top. I need this in my life.
There is also a Lion King photo opportunity in Mombasa Marketplace. That Hakuna Matata Spirit Jersey is now available on shopDisney, too!
The FastPass line for Kilimanjaro Safaris and Kali River Rapids both look a little crazy.
The stand-by line for food looks a little crazy, too!
The Finding Nemo Tumbler has new signage. This is much more appealing than the older version.
This dining information kiosk directly outside Creature Comforts may be able to help you with reservations and suggestions. I definitely suggest you check out some of our food reviews to help guide you, too.
New Pandora the World of Avatar apparel arrived at Windtraders. There are a few new shirts, but I think the “moss wall” shirt is my favorite.
There’s also more painting going on in Pandora. It’s nice to see this kind of maintenance taking place.
Well, I think that’s about it for this trip to Animal Kingdom. For all the latest Earth Day happenings, we took to social media, so be sure to check us out on Twitter and Instagram!
