As Easter weekend approaches, another Easter themed dessert has shown up at Good’s Food To Go at Disney’s Old Key West Resort.

This was a miniature carrot cake flavored bundt cake, topped with green grass shaped buttercream frosting, a white chocolate shaped egg, filled with whipped cream cheese icing.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cream cheese icing hiding under the white chocolate egg was festively colored in yellow, blue, and pink to match the colors of the egg. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I cut into the cake to find that the icing was not just on top, but filled all the way through the cake.

This was one of my favorite treats that I’ve tried on Disney property in a while. The cake was a very “carroty” flavored carrot cake, and a bit less sweet than the carrot cake found at Amorette’s Patisserie, but that perfectly balanced the heavy, very sweet flavored cream cheese icing all through the center of this cake. I would order this cake again if I was looking for a good dessert, and I wouldn’t complain if some kind of variation of this stuck around past the Easter weekend. If you only get one Easter treat on Disney property this year, this one has my vote.
