Tokyo Disney Resort has just released stunning footage of the attraction queue and ride vehicle for Soaring: Fantastic Flight, which opens on July 23rd this year at Tokyo DisneySea. Based on the popular Soarin’ Around the World attraction, the attraction at Tokyo DisneySea will feature new scenes and visuals for an experience exclusive to the park in Japan.
The attraction homepage has also been updated to include exclusive merchandise, as well as specialty food and beverage options that will be available to commemorate the attraction’s grand opening. Check out all the photos, video, and pricing below!
Soaring: Fantastic Flight Queue Interior
While we’ve been following construction on the exterior of the attraction building rather closely in our travels to Tokyo Disney Resort, this inside look of the queue interior shows off some breathtaking architecture and detail.
The backstory behind the new attraction is that it will take guests into the Museum of Fantastic Flight, which is dedicated to the dreams of flying. The current exhibit on display will be honoring Camellia Falco, a name we’ve seen in Disneyland’s new Tropical Hideaway. Falco was an innovator and a member of S.E.A. the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. As guests take in the tour inside of the museum, they’ll be able to see all of the adventures that Camellia has been on before boarding on her latest invention, a flying vehicle known as the Dream Flyer.
Disney pulls it all together in this video, which shows guests walking through the queue and boarding their very own Dream Flyer:
This adorable promotional material shows Mickey and Minnie in their turn-of-the-century best, waving at guests onboard the attraction:
