Don’t say we didn’t warn you. Leave A Legacy monolith removal began just last night, with walls going up surrounding the west side of the entrance area.

These walls are set to stay in place through summer of 2019, with work on the east side of Leave A Legacy continuing right after.

Do keep in mind that this is likely to cause bottlenecking and crowding on the other side of this walkway, so plan accordingly.

Disney Cast Members were on site to survey the current status of the walls and beginning of construction.

As part of the new entry experience coming to Epcot, the refreshed Leave A Legacy snapshots will be moving to a new location just outside the park’s gateway in 2020. Locators will be available for Leave A Legacy participants to find their photos in the new display.

There’s a lot of work to be done ahead of Epcot’s new entrance project, and Project Gamma is finally revving up. Stay tuned for all the latest updates surrounding the Leave A Legacy transition, and more!
