Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is one of the main gift shops in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland.
This den of antiquities is known to hold some of the best artifacts and unique items from all across the galaxy. Dok-Ondar is known for hosting a large collection of items, from mundane items like ancient jewelry and ancient tools to rare kyber crystals and lightsabers wielded by some famous Jedi and Sith alike.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is located right beside Savi’s Workshop in Black Spire Outpost, where you can build your own lightsabers. However, if you’re looking for ones that are more famous, rather than a unique one built by you, you’ll want to pop on by to the next shop to find some of those.
What is Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities?
Exterior of Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
The entrance can be found by the Ithorian gravestone and statue outside. If you’re fluent in Aurebesh, though, you’ll be able to tell by “Antiquities” written over the doorway.
Inside Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
Dok has his den filled with many treasures from across the galaxy, and we’ve got a pretty good look at it!
Here’s a section dedicated to the Jedi, like Master Yoda and Luke Skywalker. There’s also a wall of Kyber Crystals and Holocrons for you to pick from.
We can see Dok hard at work keeping inventory of his shop and keeping some of his more valuable artifacts away from many travelers.
Like this Imperial Guard helmet and a Mythosaur skull (the symbol of the Mandalorians) against some beskar chain mail.
Droid parts, various helmets, and instruments can be kept away in this alcove.
This section is perfect for any Galactic Empire fans. We can see artwork for Darth Vader, uniforms and badges, a collection of bust figures, and more.
It seems like Dok collects many different types of helmets and statues, though they’re out of reach for us, so we can only admire them from afar.
Along with helmets, he’s also got quite the collection of creature heads. These poor Tauntauns and Nexu are now up on display for travelers.
Dok-Ondar may appear friendly when you approach him to bargain, but keep in mind, he’s still out for the best deal for him.

Clearly, Dok-Ondar has been busy collecting items from all over the galaxy, and there are tons of interesting things to buy. Has anything caught your eye here, or are you going to be spending your money building a lightsaber and outfitting yourself in the coolest space threads?
The “Captain Phasma” helmet is a TIE Fighter Pilot helmet according to the placard in the picture with it…
I love you guys for picturing everything with prices! I know with the legacy lightsabers, you have to purchase the hilts separate from the blade/saber but I’m wondering if you can get white blades for Ahsoka’s… if you know, please do tell :)
I’ve heard the hilts determine the color of the blade. So if you bought the ahsoka hilts + 2 blades they would both display white. if you used the same blade with the Vader hilt for example it would display red. Pretty cool!
The blades are universal and will turn whatever color the hilt tells it to (the hilts determine the color, not the blades). So if you bought Ahsoka’s hilts, the blades will always be white. If you attached the same blade to Darth Vader’s hilt, it will turn red.
Yes, you can buy white kyber crystals for $12.99 each. You’d need 2. Kyber crystals are sold separately and come in blue, green, red, purple, white and yellow.
Just to be clear, the Legacy Lightsabers (pre-made character sabers like Darth Vader, Ahsoka, Darth Maul, etc) do not have interchangeable kyber crystals, their colors are predetermined.
However, the ones you build at Savi’s Workshop have kyber crystals that can be switched out. You only get to choose from blue, green, red and purple when you build it. But you can buy white and yellow (or any other color you didn’t get) separately which changes the color and sound of your built saber.
There is only one blade for all the lightsabers, whether you buy the legacy or make your own. The Kyber crystal determines what color the blade will be. Ahsoka’s sabers have the white crystal inside. :)
There are actually 3 lengths of blades. You can purchase separately a short and long blade. The blade that comes with the custom lightsabers is actually in between the length of the short and long blades.
The way that the sabers are colored are with Kiber Crystals. They sell six different crystals and each one determines the color of your blade! Colors include red, green, blue, yellow, purple, and white. So to answer your question, yes you can get Ahsoka’s white blades.
See they have one blade for all the lights inside change the color so for example I would put it the blade in mace windos it would be purple than put it in Ashokas and it would be white
Ahsoka’s hilts transmit a white light through the blade. The blades are universal and transmit whatever color the hilt tells it to, i.e. Ahsoka’s – white, Mace’s – purple, and so on.
The custom/built saber’s go off of a kyber crystal. Whatever color crystal you pick/buy and but in the hilt, that will be the cold the blade lights up.
Hope this helps 👍
Do the Lightsaber hilts include the “blade” as well?
They are purchased separately. I read they were $40 for a short blade and $60 for a longer blade. Can’t remember the source on that.
$50 for the long blade
According to employees in Chicago, they do indeed come with the blades. Luke’s ROTJ saber comes with a special emitter attachment for the narrow neck and Kylo Ren’s comes with the side exhaust blades as well!
Just been confirmed that they do not come with the blades. :(
They do not. They sell a 26” blade for $44.99 and a 36” blade for $49.99 but do keep in mind that the blades are universal for all lightsabers.
That’s supercool – so i can buy one blade to fit a Luke saber and a custom built one. I’m guessing you can’t change the crystals in the store bought ones? (luke/ahsoka?)
You have to buy a blade for the legacy lightsabers. The custom ones come with their own blades. Also, the legacy blades do NOT use a kyber crystal. The hilt determines the blade. The custom hilts DO use a kyber crystal and you can determine the color of the blade based on the crystal.
Do you know if the blade includes a case or do you have to purchase that separate?
The legacy hilts include cases. The custom lightsabers from Savi’s come with a fabric holder that fits a lightsaber with the blade installed and has a strap. The blades come with nothing.
Yo I noticed you called the black pilot helmet “captain phasma” (which is incorrect) just thought I’d let you know! Although I was wondering if they actually sell a phasma helmet?
Is there a Count Dooku lightsaber?
Also, can you change the crystal for the legacy lightsabers? My wants to make Dooku’s lightsaber with a green blade.
Sorry, but no, the legacy sabers do not have the ability to change into a different color than what they’re supposed to be . . . Although the blades are universal, there is something inside the saber that sets the blade color and sound. For the customizable build-a-lightsaber deal in Savi’s workshop, this is done via a shard of whatever color kyber crystal you desire. Apparently a chip in the crystal “talks” to the lightsaber mechanism and sets the color and sounds based on the color of the crystal. Now that I think about it, I imagine there will be some intrepid hackers that will buy both, take them apart and try to crack it so the legacy sabers can show different colors than what they are intended. It wouldn’t surprise me!
Thanks for the update!
That’s a shame, because my son keeps nagging me about getting a Dooku saber, but making it green like Qui Gon Jinns.
Unfortunately the custom saber won’t work because they don’t seem to have any curved ones.
Assaj’s saber is curved, but he has his sights set on Dooku’s only. *sigh*
Saberforge sells a dooku hilt that would be any color you choose.
Will there be an online shopping site?
I know they had a rey lightsaber im assuming its not on here bc it sold out or something. Did y’all happen to get the pricing on that one?
Rey’s is the first saber.. it was also Luke’s and Anikans at one time👍
With custom built sabers can you choose the size of the blade? I want a 26 inch blade as its easier to take home.
No, the custom sabers all come with 31″ blades.
You may purchase a shorter one👍
How much do the blades cost?
The holocrons are cool and all, but given that it has a UBS charging cable…would have thought they could also have put in usb flash drive to complete the Holocron. I’ve been hoping for one, especially Sith.
How does the Luke Skywalker legacy lightsaber work? It looks like the emitter/neck are too small to hold a blade.
It definitely does
There is another emitter plug in for half the saber in the box, underneath the insert. It is a thicker upper hilt which allows for the blade to be inserted.
Does anyone know or have knowledge of a link where I can find each one of the characters the kyber crystals can be for example red can be dooku, maul, Vader…
Do you know what sizes the Resistance Insignia Ring comes in? I have super big hands, and am hoping there’s more than one.
Firstly, thanks so much for posting this with pics!
Out of interest, was there really no Kylo robes or Palpatine saber?
Also, would love to know if there’s any way you can pick the parts you like the most ahead of time for the custom lightsaber – instead of being stuck with the limited choice they bring out in their salvage case (for each category)? Maybe through the app?
Would love to do so ahead of time or even while I wait in line so I don’t have to pick something they bring me (hearing some parts only have 2 options to choose from)…
Im wondering if you buy 2 temple guard light sabers, is it possible to get an adapter somehow (maybe from a darth maul lightsaber for example) and use it to combine the two to make a double bladed lightsaber?
Do you know if your AP discount is applicable to any items in this shop or any of the GE’s shops? Thanks!
AP discount does not work on the build a droid/lightsaber, but it did work on the accessories in the shop. I was able to use it for the extra pieces for the droids and additional kyber crystals for the saber.
This cant be all the stuff. There is at least 2 more sabers. There a Rey saber and a Vader saber. I’m real curious what the price is on those.
Does anyone know if the legacy lightsabers (Luke, Vader, Rey, etc) will be a unique item? I’m guessing they will always be available to purchase. More trying to understand if these are real collectors item, or will they be widely available.
Darth Maul and Ventriss but no Dooku? Seriously!!!! Lame!!
Does anyone know if it I still possible to order this stuff from the Disney store or will be when hollywood studios opens up galaxy’s edge in august?
Megan, how much is the Dejerik game ?
We bought a legacy lightsaber without the blade and were wondering is there a way to buy the blade online or somehow without coming back to Disney? We are from out of state.
