Full List of Quick Service Locations Opening Early for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Extra, Extra Magic Hours Starting August 29th at Walt Disney World
If you’re looking to face the crowds descending upon Black Spire Outpost with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on August 29th, rest assured that at least you’ll be able to do so with something in your belly. Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens at 6:00 AM for all guests on that day, with Extra, Extra Magic Hours offered at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, opening at 7:00 AM that day and daily through November 2nd for resort guests.
Extra, Extra Magic Hours will also be coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting on September 1st, also running daily through November 2nd, with the park open from 6:00 to 9:00 AM exclusively for resort guests.
Disney has extended the hours of several quick service locations at resorts around the property to accommodate for guests leaving extra early to the parks. (Although who actually wants to eat anything at 2:30 AM is beyond me.) Hours are currently reflected online, and we’ve compiled a comprehensive list below of all the participating locations.
The folllowing locations will open on 2:30 AM on Thursday, August 29th, then at 3:30 AM from Friday, August 30th to Monday, September 2nd, then at 4:15 AM from Tuesday, September 3rd through Saturday, November 2nd before returning to normal 6:00 AM opening times on Sunday, November 3rd.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort – Everything Pop
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Landscape of Flavors
Disney’s All-Star Resorts (all three quick service eateries)
Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter – Sassagoula Floatworks
Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside – Riverside Mill
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – The Mara

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Roaring Fork

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – Capt. Cook’s (open 24/7)
Disney usually makes these kinds of arrangements for runDisney events, but it appears they’re looking to be prepared for this upcoming Thursday as well. So far, it appears the bus transportation schedule has not been altered, with buses departing an hour before park open and return service available two hours after park close.
