While at the Fairy Tails pin event at Epcot, we were overwhelmed with all the pins previewed for the rest of the year. Not only did we get a chance to see the pins for Walt Disney World and Disneyland, but there were also previews for the upcoming D23 releases and the Disney Employee Center. These pins are beautifully detailed, and stunning in person. They are sure to be popular with event attendees! Let’s take a look at some of the new pins.
D23 Mickey’s of Glendale Pins
Hopefully Haunted Mansion collectors have had time to recover from buying all the event merchandise, because there are even more pins to buy! There’s a series of hinged pins and a 13 pin mystery puzzle set.
The Lion King 25th Anniversary 4 pin set is super cute.
Matterhorn Bobsleds, the Monorail, and the Submarine Voyage 60th anniversary set is incredible. These pins are so big and colorful.
The set of Disneyland anniversary keys is amazing. We especially love the Splash Mountain key!
It’s nice to see some love for the old Disney Afternoon cartoons! Gummi Bears, Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers, and TaleSpin profile series are sure to be popular. Walt Disney Imagineering “profile” pins have always been popular among pin collectors. Seeing some unique characters featured here is a nice change!

The Best in Show series features canines with trophies. So cute!
The 6 castle pin set is beautiful, and very similar to previous castle box sets sold. That Hong Kong Disneyland castle pin seems to be designed to look like the new castle.
Disney Employee Center
Star Wars poster pins have been previewed. These are available at the LucasFilm Employee Store and online for Cast Members.
Some Halloween pins come to the Disney Employee Center. These are available in store and online for Cast Members.
There is also a series of characters in front of the Walt Disney Company water tower, and a character name series. The anniversary hinged name tag pins look fun, too! These are also available for Cast Members only.
The villains and heroes set looks beautiful, too.
These are some beautiful limited edition pins, and some will be exclusive to D23 event attendees, and others exclusive to Disney Cast Members. We’re sure these will be very popular among pin traders. If you’re going to D23, will you be trying to pick up any of these pins?
