Welcome, Foolish Mortals! To the Main Street Cinema in the Magic Kingdom. Today we have a brand-new, open-edition Jim Shore figure featuring none other than the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion, sitting (albeit questionably) aboard a Doom Buggy.
This piece was originally released exclusively at D23 Expo, and it sold out very quickly, so Cast Members were thrilled to see it arrive today.
Haunted Mansion Hitchhiking Ghost Doom Buggy Figure by Jim Shore – $85.00
The open-edition figure comes on top of a carved platform. There’s even extra detailing on the Doom Buggy in the form of a bat stanchion.
The Hitchhiking Ghosts also glow in the dark, making this a great piece for any office or Haunted Mansion room. Master Gracey would be proud.
All the pieces are molded separately, so if you look closely, you can see each carved detail.
The Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy figurine is part of the Disney Showcase Collection and you can find it at any Art of Disney store in the parks.
I think 85.00 is a lot much for that
Meh. I have never been a fan of Jim Shore’s garish work. I don’t like the base and the pink carving on the Doom Buggy. Guess I will have to take a ‘pass’ on this item.
