Boo to you! And welcome to this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We’re delving into a night of ghoulish treats, spooky merchandise, and chilling spells. Trick, or treat? Let’s move on to the delectable snacks available across the Magic Kingdom throughout the night. We’re at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, winner of WDWNT’s March Madness 2019 best quick service restaurant showdown. If Sonny Eclipse has the tunes, Cosmic Ray has the beef… but we couldn’t help but have beef with this year’s Not-So-Scary offerings.
Lots-O-Burger – $15.99
This huggable burger features a beef patty topped with brie fondue, strawberry-bacon jam, an onion ring, and a Lotso bun.
We’ve gotta hand it to them. This is one of Cosmic Ray’s best outings, however, they always have to ruin it with the same old dried-out and forgettable quick-service patty.
The brie they’ve wedged into this sandwich is great and pairs well with the onion jam.
However, not even great toppings can save a gritty, bad quick service burger.
Berry Blaster – Party Exclusive, Available at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café
Get ready to blast off with this specialty drink consisting of blue curaçao, cherry lemonade, and Sprite garnished with a lemon wheel and raspberries.
If you like the taste of watered-down grape juice, have I the drink for you! Billed as having blue curacao, it’s actually a mocktail comprised of soda and syrup overkill. Don’t get this. Seriously.
