REVIEW: Two Suns Hummus Brightens Up Backlot Express for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Bright suns! We’re taking a little lunch break away from Batuu to enjoy some of the new Star Wars offerings around the park. While visiting Backlot Express at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we decided to try the new Two Suns Hummus.

This meal is a light, healthier alternative to some of the other offerings here. Two different hummus options are served with pita and a side salad for $9.99.

There is a red pepper hummus, with what looks like lamb sausage on top. The “plain” hummus is covered in full chickpeas, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The side salad is a nice thought, but it kinda looks like they just threw some lettuce on the plate to fill it up. There is a very light dressing on this spring mix.

There are only 4 pitas served with this dish, which is a little disappointing considering how much hummus you actually get. We ran out of pita early on and had nothing to dip in the rest of the hummus, unfortunately. Both are very good, but we probably preferred the red pepper hummus over the plain hummus.

This is a lighter option that for those are looking for healthier alternatives to the menu. The Two Suns Hummus is a little overpriced for what you get, but we do appreciate the thought. You can find this at Backlot Express as part of the new foods around the park in honor of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
