Today we stopped by Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, specifically to check out what was new with the Disney Skyliner hub station and the new Joffrey’s location. Let’s see if there have been any major changes!
“What’s the small building” you say?…let’s get a closer look from another angle…
Last time we checked in, this building was blocked and did not have it’s signage yet. We knew it was going to be a Joffrey’s but now it certainly looks more official! This location is slated to be opening alongside the Disney Skyliner on its grand opening day, September 29th, 2019!
Just a tad bit of a closer look at the new kiosk. We weren’t able to get any closer due to the sidewalk being closed, as access is limited to construction workers and cast members only. This is the view from the parking lot located on the left side of the main road that leads you into the resort, as you enter from Victory Way.
While we were at Caribbean Beach we also noticed several busses with the marquee that read “Special Event” so we could only assume these busses were being utilized as shuttles for those Cast Members lucky enough to preview the Skyliner.
Here is a view of Joffrey’s alongside the Skyliner hub station as well as some of the skyliner vehicles in action! You could actually hear music and recorded announcements from the gondolas.
Will you be showing up to ride the Disney Skyliner on opening day at the end of this month? I know we will be, and am looking forward to it! Keep checking back with WDWNT for further updates regarding the Skyliner as well as Joffrey’s!
