The latest Classic Cozy Knits release to hit the Magic Kingdom is kind of a deep cut, but we’re here for it.
If you recognize these adorable little faces, you’ve guessed right. It’s The Penguins from “Mary Poppins”!
Oh, it’s a jolly ‘oliday to buy some penguins…
These look extra cute bunched together on the stand. If you don’t buy these four at a time and teach them how to tap dance, you’re doing it all wrong.
Like all Cozy Knit releases, there’s a nifty tag that gives you some insight on the character. This one reads:
The Penguins appeared in the classic “Mary Poppins” in 1964. They are the cheerful waiters who dance along with Bert in the animated sequence in the movie.
Each Penguin has its own bow tie and napkin.
One thing we noticed with these is inconsistency in manufacturing:
You might want to keep an eye out… for wonky eye placement. However, it’s tiny imperfections like these that give the Classic Cozy Knit collection a more homespun feel, which I can appreciate.
You can find the plush across Walt Disney World, as we’ve seen some in the Emporium and even at Mouse Gear. Each Penguin costs $27.99, and you can still find many of the other releases, like Perdita, still available.
Are they available in Disneyland???
I like penguins, they are never upset.
