Good morning from Epcot, where the sun is shining, the Food & Wine Festival booths are simmering up some tasty foods, and over at Port of Entry near World Showcase Lagoon, you can find some shiny new Festival Medallions.
We figured to include some photos of Port of Entry as we often get questions about this and its other counterpart, Disney Traders. You can stop by these shops right before (or after) you begin your World Showcase tour, as they’re located across from each other by Showcase Plaza.
It is here where you can also find the Food & Wine Festival Wine Shop, but we’re here for something else:
This nifty new Food & Wine Festival Collectible Coin Machine!
Now, guests can have their very own shiny gold medallions featuring Chef Mickey, Chef Minnie, Chef Remy, or Chef Figment.
The machine takes cash in the form of $1, $5, and $10 bills, as well as credit, but you’ll have to purchase 3 for $10. If you only want one coin, you’d have to pay cash, and it’ll run you $5. Annoyingly enough, they make it so you basically have to make two transactions to complete a set, totaling $15 for all four.
The coins are beautifully presented in rows, with the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival 2019 logo on the back of all designs.

Will you be passing by Port of Entry for your festival medallions? While I’m still partial to pressed pennies and quarters, these are definitely another good option for coin collectors, as well as people looking for affordable Festival souvenirs.
