We’re back at the Magic Kingdom today to check in on more Hurricane Dorian preparations around the park. On our last visit, we spotted some of the initial hurricane prep, and even more has been tied down and removed around the park since then. Do keep in mind that if you are planning on visiting the park tomorrow, the park does close at 3:00 PM. You can check out all of the adjusted park hours here.
The small pumpkins have been removed around the entrance of the park, but they will return. The wreaths, banners, and larger pumpkin statues are still in place, though.
Tinker Bell’s wire has been removed! It’s such a strange sight to see. The cable from Cinderella Castle to Tomorrowland that Tinker Bell uses has been completely taken down to prepare for the hurricane. Tink definitely shouldn’t be flying in these conditions.
The larger banners around the Storybook Circus entrance have been rolled up and secured.
The banners inside and around Merida’s meet and greet have been rolled up and removed.
Many of the flags and banners in Fantasyland are secured.
Even more flags are zip tied in Tomorrowland over the Tomorrowland Speedway.
Some of the lighting fixtures along Cinderella Castle have been covered in black bags and wrapped in plastic.
Temporary lighting fixtures have been set up along the parade route in Frontierland. The Boo to You Parade lighting fixtures have been removed for now, so these will have to do for now.

Stay safe out there everyone!
