According to a permit filed with Orange County, construction on the Play Pavilion at Epcot is well underway. The permit in question has a description of “Fabricate and install show set components”, indicating a new step in the construction progress.

Previously, the only permits we had for the pavilion was for “Selective interior removal of concrete, steel, framing, finish, irrigation and MEPF”. This permit, filed with Orange County in April of this year, was simply for demolition work on the pavilion to get ready for construction.

The Play Pavilion is set to open at Epcot in 2021, so we should see plenty more permits like this one coming soon.
