Avast and shiver me timbers! There be a new place to find dubloons in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland! Okay, enough of the pirate lingo. A new collectible medallion kiosk has opened at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar, featuring coins themed to Pirates of the Caribbean.

The coins cost $5 each, or three for $10. The machine takes cash and credit cards, but credit cards can only be used on the three for $10 offer.

A digital readout displays the prices.

The medallions feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto enjoying the pirates’ life, wearing garb reminiscent of Captain Jack Sparrow, Redd, and the jailhouse dog.

Of course, if you prefer your Pirates of the Caribbean medallion to have nothing but the Pirates of the Caribbean on it, there’s an option for you, too, featuring the skeleton at the steering wheel featured at the beginning of the ride.

All coins feature the attraction logo on the back. Take a look at all those riches!

The Minnie Mouse and Pluto coins have a shiny, gold look, while the Mickey Mouse and Skeleton Pirate coins have a more aged, copper look to them.

So now, you can take home a coin to remind you Pirates of the Caribbean… no marauding, embezzling, or hijacking needed!

  1. Is there any sort of ongoing list for locations of the medallion machines? Is there still one at Art of Disney in Disney Springs? I want to make sure I track these down on my next trip.

    • Found one at pin traders tonight. I’m not sure if it’s a different machine than Art of Disney or if they just moved it.
