SHOP: Citizen Releases Two New Timepieces Celebrating Spider-Man and 80 Years of Marvel

Citizen has released two new watches in celebration of Marvel's 80th anniversary

Citizen Watch has been on a roll lately with Disney partnerships that have brought on some great timepieces, like a Captain Marvel collection, a series celebrating 90 years of Mickey Mouse, and most recently an “old-school” Star Wars collection.

The latest release from the official timepiece of Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort is inspired by Marvel’s 80th anniversary, with an additionally watch paying specific focus to everyone’s favorite web slinger. The series was unveiled this past weekend during the 2019 New York Comic Con.

Both watches can be found online at CitizenWatch.com or by following the links below. At the time of this writing they are only available for pre-order, as they won’t officially go on sale until sometime in November.

Limited Edition Marvel 80th Anniversary Watch – $495

 

The limited edition Marvel 80th Anniversary timepiece features a blue dial with a prints of various Marvel logos from over the past 80 years. This titanium watch is limited to 1,939 pieces, which is a nod to the year Marvel began.

Limited Edition Spider-Man Watch – $450

The Spider-Man watch offers a more casual, but no less classy aesthetic. The new timepiece features a compilation of iconic comic covers with the original Spider-Man highlighted. The watch is limited to 1,962 pieces, which is the same year Spidey made his first debut in issue #15 of Amazing Fantasy.
