Bonjour from EPCOT’s France pavilion! Work on the pavilion expansion with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Creperie de Paris scurries onward. We found even more updates for you today!
More concrete has been poured along the new walkway into the expansion. In our last update, we saw fresh concrete and noticed that all of the new trees had been planted along the path. Wood framing has also been placed for further concrete pathways into the area.
Green, yellow, and black building wrap has been added to the lower portion of one of the building facades. The same facade has also received some detailing with decorative front concrete accents. Scaffolding has also been added to more portions of the facades.
The roof of La Creperie de Paris has received extra metal supports for roofing. This whole process is moving extremely quickly.
Back by the extended queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is the beginnings of a large planter or perhaps a fountain.
The back of La Creperie de Paris now has brown scrim all around it, covering the wall. We wonder what they’re trying to hide.
This whole construction site is changing at a rapid pace and the concept art is beginning to become a reality. We are loving watching this area grow and evolve as more is added to it. The France pavilion expansion is set to open summer 2020.
Be sure to check back with WDWNT for more updates on the France expansion project!
