Joy to the world! Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is decked out for the holidays just like the Disneyland Hotel! Take a look at all the outdoor decorations, the holiday gingerbread house, and the beautiful Christmas tree on our photo and video tour.
Outdoor Decorations
Outside along the main entrance of the Grand Californian, you can see bright red poinsettias and a Christmas garland being strung from the roof.
This continues all the way down to the main entrance doors.
Nothing fancy over on the trails to the entrance, though.
Lobby
When you enter the doors, it’s hard not to be pulled in by this Christmas beauty.
The tree has shimmering white lights with many orange and brown ornaments to match the aesthetic of the lobby — one of our favorite Christmas trees on the property.
Gingerbread House
This year, the Disneyland bakers created a completely edible gingerbread house for Chip and Dale.
This piece took two weeks to create, and one of the head bakers told us that still wasn’t enough time for them. She said it was a blessing they got it out in time.
Even the coloring you see on the stained glass windows is an edible paint placed on fondant.
The adorable Chip and Dale are made of rice crispy treats and covered in fondant. Of course, these two are tangled up in candy canes.
Limited Edition Gingerbread Collection Pin – $17.99
Here’s a quick look at the new limited edition Gingerbread Collection pin. For the Grand Californian, we have the two most lovable chipmunks, Chip and Dale, outside their gingerbread house. The pin retails for $17.99 and is only available at the hotel.
