REVIEW: Spiked Frozen Apple Pie at Block & Hans for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays 2019
For the first time ever, during 2019 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, one of our favorite standalone drink spots in EPCOT will be offering three beers and one cocktail for the Festival of the Holidays. So, let’s head over to Block & Hans over in the American Adventure and starting tasting!
Menu for Block & Hans at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
From Orlando Brewing: “This flavorful, light bodied beer is crisp and refreshing. Our Blonde Ale is light straw in color and has a 4.7% ABV, making it our version of a light beer. We used the perfect touch of organic Liberty hops to create Blonde Ale’s low hop bitterness and crisp, dry finish.”
From Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co.: “Our Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is aged for up to six weeks in freshly decanted bourbon barrels from some of Kentucky’s finest distilleries. Subtle, yet familiar, flavors of vanilla and oak are imparted to this special ale as it rests in the charred barrels. Pleasantly smooth and robust, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale may also be served as an aperitif or after-dinner drink.”
Dogfish Head Brewery says their 60 Minute IPA has an aroma that’s “hop-forward with piney & citrus notes,” a taste that’s “hoppy with moderate bitterness & crisp finish,” and a mouthfeel that’s “crisp with slightly lingering bitterness.”
