Fried Turkey Slider – with Cranberry Sauce – $7.50
This tasted like Thanksgiving on a bun. It could have used one more flavor to make it worthy of its price tag, but no one was complaining after eating it. It’s straightforward turkey on a slider bun with cranberry sauce.
Beef Pot Roast – Served on a potato roll with horseradish cream – $8.50
This pot roast is awesome. We all fought over finishing this and it was gone quickly. The pot roast is cooked to well done (or so we overheard while ordering) and is tender with a great subtle flavor. The potato roll is soft and the bread-to-meat ratio was perfect. The horseradish sauce was not at all spicy or overpowering, but it added just enough acidity to make this perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back for this dish throughout the festival run.
Bourbon Cranberry Cocktail – $13.00
This bourbon cocktail is another A+, coming from a bourbon lover and two non-bourbon lovers. It’s a bit on the sweeter side and does not taste of bourbon at all. It’s like a warm holiday hug in a plastic yellow cup! (Olaf would approve.) None of us could pinpoint the flavor, but we imagine this is what holiday potpourri would taste like, but not in a bad way. There’s a subtle aftertaste of cinnamon and cranberry. Like the other items as this booth, we will get this item multiple times this year.
Warm Peppermint Chocolate Float (Non-Alcoholic) – $6.50
We also loved this item! To make the float, they used two scoops of Dreyers vanilla ice cream mixed with peppermint hot chocolate and topped with “Disney made” whipped cream. This was warm when they served i,t so the ice cream slowly melts into it, to make it drinkable immediately. There’s a really rich peppermint chocolate flavor. The whipped cream we found to be hearty and wasn’t too sweet. It’s a fabulous non alcoholic drink for the holidays.
