Early tracking for the box office for “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” is showing that the final chapter in the “Star Wars Saga” has the potential of making somewhere between $175 million and $200 million for its domestic opening weekend.

Since this is just an estimate, we won’t know if the film will miss or exceed the predicted box office range until the results are in for that opening weekend. If you compare it to the other films in the trilogy, “The Rise Of Skywalker” is coming in slightly lower. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” made an impressive $247 million with their opening weekend. “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” made $220 million with their opening weekend. Like most movies, critic reviews and word of mouth will also affect the direction of the box office.

“Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” opens on December 20th.
