Work to improve the arrival experience at EPCOT continues to ramp up as part of the park’s overhaul. Today, we took a peek at how the project is moving along.
Work continues on the main entrance pathways leading to the east side of the EPCOT security screening areas.
Looking behind the walls, we can see where land is being leveled while new pavement is being poured.
From above, excavation continues to add new utility piping underground.
Land clearing and leveling has also progressed where new pavement will be placed. Framework for the new pavement sections is starting to appear on the sections closest to the park.
Over on the other side of the monorail station, there is little progress behind the green walls.
Testing of the new east parking tram loop drop-off area was happening today, with the loading zones still closed off to guests.
Meanwhile, work continues just on the other side of the green walls.
Inside the park entrance, we can see the water fountain is still behind walls.
Little progress has been made here in the past few days, but we can see where new pavement will be placed around the feature.
