Greetings from Magic Kingdom! Whether you’re arriving to the most magical place on earth by ferry, monorail, or bus, you’re going to be impacted by some of the construction happening around the front entrance. These entrance enhancements, as coined by Disney, are happening at all of Walt Disney World’s four parks in preparation for the resort’s 50th anniversary. Let’s see some of the changes happening around Magic Kingdom’s front entrance.
Concrete has been poured under the new structure closest to the waterfront. This is going to be a security screening area to accommodate guests arriving to Magic Kingdom by bus.
Layers of roofing material continue to be added to the structure.
Crew members were present, working on the roof and the interior portion of the building.
From a different angle, we were able to get a better ground view of the construction site. From here, we were able to see insulation being installed on the enclosed end section of the building.
Closer to the MagicBand touch points, fresh concrete had been poured next to the will-call booth.

The new planters for the front entrance are taking shape quickly! New concrete has been poured right up to the retaining walls of the new flower beds.
Hopefully once completed, Magic Kingdom’s front entrance enhancements will help guests have a smoother experience entering and exiting the park. What do you think about all the front entrance work going on at Magic Kingdom? Let us know in the comments!
