The culinary Cast Members from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are having a gingerbread house contest. Several gingerbread displays can be found on the second floor of the lobby, next to Kona Island. These may not be as large as some of the displays at the other resorts, but we felt they deserved just as much attention! Take a look at some of the creative displays they’ve come up with.

This Lilo and Stitch inspired display is beautiful. You can find Stitch, Angel, and Lilo hanging out on the stairs outside of the front door. Nani and Lilo’s house is decorated perfectly, and even has reindeer and a sleigh on the roof.

This princess themed gingerbread house is amazing. Each piece of this gingerbread castle represents a different princess.

They’ve even got Vanellope featured.

We also appreciate how they’ve placed Moana and Ariel near the water. How clever!

This traditional looking gingerbread house features color changing lights in the window. There’s even a nutcracker and a snowman hanging outside. The gum drop roof is amazing, too.

A tiny gingerbread cottage sits atop coconut snow. There’s even a dog house with a dog outside.

This display looks pretty detailed, and seems to be designed to look like the Polynesian Resort! There are chocolate tiki faces, surfboards, and Santa on the front. There is also some intricate graham cracker construction on the side that’s pretty impressive.
