“Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” Rules The Weekend Box Office

“Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” retained its top spot at the box office for a second weekend in a row. The last chapter in the Star Wars Saga made $72 million, with an additional $93 million overseas, bringing its worldwide weekend total to $165 million.

So far, “The Rise Of Skywalker” has made $362 million domestically and $363 million internationally, bringing its worldwide box office total to $725 million.

“Frozen 2” still is going strong and finished in third place. The film brought in $16.5 million over the weekend and now has a worldwide box office total of $1.21 billion.

“Spies In Disguise” came in fifth place and brought in $13 million over the weekend and has made $29 million since its opening on Christmas Day. Overseas, the film brought in $16 million, bringing its worldwide total to $38 million.
