Today we took a look at the Magic Kingdom entrance construction from above during our ride on the Monorail. Let’s see what’s happening!

There were a lot of workers were out today in this area that was the walkway to the Contemporary. We’re looking forward to seeing some bigger changes in the coming weeks.

Nearly the entire ground over on this side has turned to dirt as they prepare to lay fresh concrete where Disney’s Walk Around World bricks once covered the floor.

The roofing has been completed on the new security screening area.

Construction continues over at the small boat dock as well. It looks like they’re getting ready to pour some concrete soon, building a path that will lead to the new bridge to the Grand Floridian.

We’re looking forward to all of this construction being completed and the entrance area of the Magic Kingdom to look welcoming again.
