Disney has just released a behind-the-scenes look at the new Cirque du Soleil show, “Drawn To Life.”
The new show is set to open April 17th in the newly-redesigned theater at Disney Springs. For the first time, a Cirque du Soleil show will be in partnership with Disney Feature Animation as well as Disney Imagineering.
The behind-the-scenes video features a first look at the interior of the theater, with large blank pages surrounding the stage. This was the first look for the Artist & Creation Team to see the theater where the fully immersive acrobatic mastery will take place. We were able to hear from the shows director as well:
“Michel Laprise, writer and show director for “Drawn to Life” takes you through his vision for the production as the team prepares to bring this amazing story and tribute to the art of Disney Animation to life, in Cirque du Soleil signature style.”
April 17th can’t get here soon enough! Tickets for Cirque du Soleil’s “Drawn to Life” are now on sale.
