The band is part of the overall “Disney Ink & Paint” series that is an homage to classic animation featuring the process from animated pencil drawing to finished painted transparent cell. The white band with gray framing makes such classic characters as Snow White and Dumbo leap off the page, or in this case, the band.

The band is complemented by the gorgeous Dooney & Bourke gold clasp that really brings a luxurious feel.

The band comes packaged in an amazing matching case. The box is so detailed, it will make you want to display your MagicBand rather than wear it.

Do you spy any of your favorite characters? I’m personally a fan that Mr. Toad got a shout-out!

Were you wondering why you don’t see Moana, Elsa, or some of the newer Disney characters? The Ink & Paint Building on the Walt Disney Studio Lot housed the classic inking and painting of cell style animation from 1940-1989. The last animated feature to use the ink and paint style was “The Little Mermaid”. The only characters featured in this series will be the more classic style characters.

The band currently retails for $58 and can be found at Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom and online via shopDisney.

What an awesome MagicBand to add to your collection. Wearing this to the parks will be difficult because it is such a unique piece. What characters did you spy on the MagicBand that got you excited? Let me know in the comments!
